I have been having trouble pulling in a good eight-hour sleep these days. Actually, it has been going on for a few months. I’d wake up every now and then and have a hard time going back to sleep. This lack of sleep makes me very lethargic all throughout a day and a bit grumpy.

My husband says it must be our mattress. It’s due for a change since we have had it for a couple of years already. I also need a better pillow because I tend to keep a lot of pillows to my side when I sleep. Maybe a DreamEssentials.com body pillow would be a better option for me, don’t you think?

In any case, I need to sleep better!

I have been thinking the past few days what I want to get this Christmas and I was pretty surprised at myself that I have been drawing a blank! Wow! That has never happened before!

It has been a pretty good year. I have had my wish granted and though times were sometimes hard, it was made more bearable that our family has been complete this year – I honestly would not have it any other way.

Now, for material things, I have a few “wants” but its has not really became a pressing “want” that I really, really want it – I just want a happy and peaceful Christmas with my family!

I am still drawing a blank when it comes to what presents to give to my family this year. I have a few ideas like citizen watches, an iPad and clothes. But my budget can’t accommodate my ideas so I have to restructure things a bit .

We were supposed to do some Black Friday shopping but plans fell through. We originally planned to get some XBOX Kinect games and a new xbox hard drive since they were on sale at ridiculously low prices. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be!

At least we were able to save what we have on our budget and hopefully spend on new furniture. We really need a new couch and dining set. Hopefully before Christmas!

A nephew of mine is graduating this school year and we are all so excited for him because he will be graduating with honors! They already have taken their pictures for the yearbook, voted which high school class rings will be available for them and now are planning (excitedly) for their prom.
