Beaches are prime honeymoon hot spots. Most newlyweds enjoy the beach and honeymoon in the Caribbean or Hawaii. I know that hawaii vacations are always a blast as I have two cousins who live there, one of them even is head of a booming hotel filled with tourists all year round! I personally would prefer to travel to Europe and experience their culture. I love how Europe is just one big land and I can go from country to country by train, bus or car. Someday soon, I know we will be able to go there. Someday

We would love to go to Caramoan! That’s my mother-in-law’s hometown. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine it would be such a vacation hit.

There are new all inclusive mexico hotel chains called Karisma in the Riviera and someday I’d like to try it out.

I have been dreaming of going to Europe ever since I saw pictures from a friend who had a European tour as her honeymoon present from her husband. Being a religious person, I would also love to go there to visit the Vatican and do a Marian pilgrimage. Europe for me just boasts of culture and experience and I would love to immerse myself in their culture for awhile.

Now, when you say Europe, the two places that first come to mind are Italy and France. While France is has more name recall because of the Eiffel Tower, Italy has its own distinctions. Having Rome at its Capital where the Renaissance period was born, I’m sure people would be thinking museums and restaurants. They don’t realize that Italy country located on the Italian Peninsula in Southern Europe and on the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. As such, they have the best beaches in the Mediterranean as well.

For example, along the Venetian Riviera, in Lido Di Jesolo, there is a hotel jesolo called Park Hotel Brasilia which has earned a four-star rating from the prestigious Worldhotels First Class Collection International chain. Located along the east area of Lido di Jesolo, facing directly the Adriatic Sea, it has a private and full equipped beach.

The hotel jesolo lido is near near Piazza Milano and all tourist attractions are just a stone’s throw away. Golf lovers would be delighted to learn that there is 18 hole golf course just 5km away.

This hotel 4 stelle jesolo is a perfect place for a romantic getaway. Just look at the pictures!

The restaurant they have faces directly to the beach, earning the name “Ipanema sul Mare”. Their beach and pools have areas for private viewing too.

The hotel is now open for operations starting April 9th and as part of their special offers, their website says that for Summer 2009, you are entitled to a 30% discount when you book a week’s worth of stay. If you cannot wait and will be travelling until May 14th, you can enjoy a 15% discount too.

I’ve been dreaming of going to a place with an infinity pool like the picture you see to the left. There is a resort in Batangas which has this but their rates are so expensive for us (for now). Maybe we can reserve it when there is an extra special occasion – like our wedding anniversary?

Other than that I would love to be in a jacuzzi please!

Kratom

We all know plants are where medicines (in commercial form) come from. Unfortunately some medicinal plants are being used in harmful ways. We must learn to regulate them. A plant called kratom is used as a stimulant(in low doses), sedative(in high doses), recreational drug, pain killer, medicine for diarrhea, and treatment for opiate addiction. Kratom is a tree native to Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar). Its botanical name is Mitragyna speciosa. The leaves of kratom have been used as an herbal drug from time immemorial by peoples of Southeast Asia.

This one is a plant with very large potential to help people.

The beach has always been the most sought after destination when one talks about vacations. I think Im the only one who would prefer going to somewhere cold when on vacation (that is why I love Tagaytay so much). I guess it is partly because Im just uncomfortable donning a swimsuit, I hate getting dark and I hate sweating under the heat

All that might change if I can go on a Caribbean Cruise or even just go to Negril, Jamaica. Jamaica has a luscious beach line and the one in Negril is nothing less than spectacular! It is known for its 7-mile beach, rocky cliffs and unbelievable sunsets. It is most know for its all inclusive resorts which also features
adult vacations if you are into those kinds of stuff.

There are new superclubs opened in Jamaica recently with their upgrades amounting to 4 million dollars! Im so sure they have the best accomodations! I looked it up and Negril Beach Villa is the place to go – a Spanish style villa in Jamaica with a jacuzzi and a separate dresser, love that!

I have a frustration.
Edil and I have never travelled out of town just the two of us at all. Not ever.

Everytime I bring the subject up, Edil would tell me, “Sure. Go ahead.” but Im always met with empty enthusiasm. It’s not that we are going on cruises or anything fancy – Im talking about an overnight stay in Tagaytay which is, I need to emphasize, a mere 15 minutes away from home.

Now Im going to Cebu on January next year to meet Glo and roam around hopefully and I want to take him with me.

I might as well be talking to a wall.
Hmpfff.

Travel Plans.

My Dad was planning to go to Rome this month to attend a conference for our Catholic organization. It was a great deal – for 200,000 pesos he can go to Europe (free airfare within the countries), Australia and US for a round of conferences and anniversaries he was asked to attend. He got really excited about it even if funds were really low. The only problem he had was applying for a Schengen Visa. He was skeptical he can get one. Based from feedback from people though, since he has a US multiple entry visa (and he travels once a year), an Australian visa and many more, he would be most likely approved.

Anyways, long story short, he wasnt able to push through with his plans but there is a congregation that will go around 15 people to be exact. After Rome, Italy they might take a tour of Europe and wants to look for a Car hire Paris airport arrangement so that they wont have to think of hiring one when they get there. It is a good thing everything can be done online these days –they did an arrangement with 1stcarhirefrance.com. They are going to arrive in the main paris airport called the Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport which features the biggest departure hall in France.
