I will let you in on a secret – I don’t have an engagement ring. I lost my wedding ring too. So basically you can call me a ring-less married lady. I don’t have an engagement ring because we could not afford it at the time. We already had a son when we decided to get married and rather than giving me a ring, I told my husband to just give me my dream wedding. And he did! I lost my wedding ring when I was pregnant with out second child, less than a year after getting married. We are planning to get new rings soon and I am hoping we can get wholesale loose diamonds on it – since I don’t have an engagement ring. (I can have the value of two rings in one, right?) Certified diamonds should be bought from reputable sellers though as there are a lot of fake or low-grade diamonds in the market.

If given a choice though, I would want one of those white gold engagement rings I saw on a jewelry store months ago. I prefer a solitaire ring, nothing too overwhelming because I would want to wear it everyday. But I want a radiant ring, one that just shines when hit by sunlight. I think it would need to be a princess cut or a radiant cut for it to catch light that way.
