Buy New House? Order Checks
A friend of ours finally bought themselves their own home and they could not be any happier! They have endured (and sometimes suffered) living with the in-laws for five years so they can save faster for the initial house down payment and they finally were able to close the house.
They were also lucky to have an approved house loan with a very low interest and flexible mortgage plan. The loan is payable in ten years and they have the option to do refinancing twice during the ten-year period, free of charge.
They just had to open a personal checking account so they can issue personal checks. They had to order checks because they had to issue post-dated checks for 12 months in 10 years (it is a common practice in the banking sector, especially if you have not set a collateral).
The bank issued the original personal checks but the corresponding new batches they decided to have it ordered online because it was much cheaper. They can even choose designs to go with the checks they ordered. They decided to have their monogram as the design to make it classy and elegant-looking.
Now they are in the process of decorating and buying furniture and appliances. It is draining to the pockets but very fulfilling!
