Backup And Recovery

Whether you are a simple blogger, a photo sharer, a bulletin board owner, an online seller, or a network provider, you always need to have the option of storage virtualization to ensure that you are able to perform backup and recovery. Whether it is you yourself doing it or just the person reminding somebody else, the important point is, constant backup should be done so there is always a way for recovery.

A lot of businesses are now available online which used to be offline before the internet became comfortably available for sellers and buyers. The root of all these, though, are companies that can provide storage virtualization and data center consolidation. These used to be weak a decade ago but that is no longer acceptable now. If you are an online company that handles data, you have to have a perfect plan A to minimize the use of plan B. If you have to, though, make sure that your plan B works as good as plan A without almost getting noticed that you are actually using plan B.

Bloggers should also get into the habit of backing up databases so that when change of hosting is necessary, uploading the old posts is a breeze by uploading the database from the old host. The host, though, should be the real one to backup to be able to recover whenever hit by some strange and hard-to-catch virus like DDOS.
