We are in the middle of summer and we had an awesome first half, filled with activities, non-stop family gatherings and countless food trips. In two weeks we would be celebrating my daughter’s birthday and afterwards it would be preparation for school again. Somehow we need to find a way to squeeze in a summer trip to the beach. My husband is dying to shoot some balls with pool cues (read: billiards) while drinking beers in a resort, kayaking and swimming. He deserves it after dutifully driving the kids around this summer!
