Keeping Warm even when Outdoors
I know most of us have been experiencing some nasty cold weather and snow the past few months. I personally am getting tired of it – I feel sluggish and my kids are prone to sickness when it’s too cold. I was planning of hosting a cook-out party outdoors, just to celebrate having survived the snowstorm but I do not know if I can keep everyone warm enough. I looked at heaters and fire pits and came across the great selection at Outdora.com. Here are two suggestions I have come up with.
1. Use an outdoor fireplace.
Unlike fire pits, these are enclosed in glass windows on its sides. It is actually better than an open fire pit as it won’t be affected by strong winds, has a funnel or chimney to direct smoke upwards (this is good for those who have allergies or respiratory problems like my kids), and has a spark arrestor to to help diffuse any wayward sparks. And the ones I have seen in the Outdora.com web site has pagoda designed ones and even coffee tables with outdoor fireplaces installed. This is great for coffee with friends outside.
2. Get a chiminea.
If you are looking to add warmth and mosquito protection to your outdoor patio area, consider investing in a chiminea. This multi-purpose chimney can also serve as an outdoor cooking appliance. I am not familiar about this piece of furniture/appliance and I was pleasantly surprised to find ones being offered at Outdora.com. Chimineas are only appropriate for outdoor use, and provide a lot of warmth for their size. They feature a pear shape, with a large rounded bottom and tall, narrow chimney rising above. Chimineas come in many sizes, and can fit any patio space. They can be composed of clay or any variety of metal including aluminum, sheet metal, cast iron, copper, stainless steel, and more.
And I would just like to say that Outdora.com prides itself to offer the lowest prices in the market. They are willing to match any price in the market, with free shipping.
