I have been fortunate enough to have a reliable maid for the last three months. She is set to go home for the elections (and for a vacation) next month and I told her that if she comes back, she will get a raise and more benefits. It is rare that I actually find a maid who has concern and the patience for my kids so I want to keep her in any way and as long as I can. I told her that once my daughter settles in with her school, I would be off to look for jobs in the nursing department so I can practice my skills and review. She seems to understand that I need her to be able to carry on with my plans so I hope that she comes back.
