I am a big fan of House MD. In fact, the few times you can see me shunning away work is when I am catching up on episodes of House on DVD. I am now halfway through Season 4 and I wish I will free time soon to be able to finish it as we just bought the complete episodes of Season 5. I remember there was one episode when a lady who had a dwarf (midget) of a mother and a regular guy for a father got admitted. She was admitted due to a variety of reasons – but it turns out she did not inherit the dwarfism of her mother, even if she looks like a midget. It was Cushing’s Syndome (lack of hgh or the human growth hormone) that was her problem. How did House find out about it? An x-ray gone wrong – her legs were growing at the normal rate!
