One of my biggest regrets in life is losing my maternal grandmother’s earrings when I was eight years old. I was eight and wanted to wear it. And I lost it. Fast forward when I was 19 and my Wawa died and we found out she left nothing – the jewelry she had were taken by my other aunts as heirlooms to their daughters. So we didnt have any. I wanted to have a piece of her that I can give to my daughter someday. Those earrings were so beautiful.

Up to now I still don’t have jewelry to call my own. Im 28 in a couple of months and one of my goals to get myself one – not the simple ones but studs, or one that has worth that I can pass on to Martha someday.
