Somebody asked me how I got such nice indoor lighting in our house – my pictures of the kids have such nice lighting. While there are admittedly good shots, I go through trial and error in getting those using the manual mode. I dont shoot in Auto anymore because I want to learn. They are not perfect shots. I have under and overexposed photos taken all the time. But when I do get the perfect shot, it is all nice. When indoors, I crank up the ISO shoot in 1/10 (this results in blurry action shots) and put on all the lights. WB is on auto.
