Sad But True Story

I literally laughed out loud when I saw this over my friend’s YM status:

Barker ng Bus: “Cubao, Cubao, Cubao, Cubao,Cubao, Cubao,Cubao, Cubao,Cubao, Cubao,Cubao, Cubao,Cubao, Cubao!”

Pasahero: “Boss, Cubao?”

OMG!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

All for Beauty.

If I can be classified as obsessed with scrapbooking, there are people who are obsessed with beautification – pampering others. Vanity has been boosted with the rise of salons and spas everywhere – they have been sprouting like mushrooms everywhere. I know that the beauty schools in arizona have doubled the past years. Founded more than 50 years ago in Minneapolis, Regency is the fastest growing beauty school in the country. Regency has expanded from two Minnesota schools in 2002 to almost 30 campuses across nine states, with continued growth underway for next year. Im sure there will be more people enrolling this year.

Workstation

I finally think I have found the perfect solution for us family who are always centered on the computer for entertainment and games. Previously, I planned to have the desktop transferred to Matthew’s room but it was just delegated to a corner from the dining area. I think the corner workstation would be promising – just the style Im not going to copy all the cabinets. I would want another extension of the computer area so I can have a permanent place for my laptop. I think we would need to have this custom-made.

The one on the right though is something I really dream for myself, my own work space or room. I am OC by nature and I think I have a subconscious desire to list everything down. I admit though I have trouble controlling clutter (I love tiny knick knacks. Those things that are nice but have no use exactly).

Beautifying our little house has been at the top of my mind all the time. If only money wasnt an issue. Im always on the lookout fo discount furniture.

It’s Fake.

Somebody asked me how I got such nice indoor lighting in our house - my pictures of the kids have such nice lighting. While there are admittedly good shots, I go through trial and error in getting those using the manual mode. I dont shoot in Auto anymore because I want to learn. They are not perfect shots. I have under and overexposed photos taken all the time. But when I do get the perfect shot, it is all nice. When indoors, I crank up the ISO shoot in 1/10 (this results in blurry action shots) and put on all the lights. WB is on auto.
