Riviera

Who doesnt know the Riviera? A strip of beach located at Mexico’s most sought after Caribbean beaches. There are newly launched cancun hotels that cater to people from all walks of life. From families, newlyweds, even folks with unique personalities (nudists). Because I like to eat, Id like to try their Gourmet Inclusive restaurant in one of the Karisma Hotels.“Gourmet Inclusive” is an entirely new concept that caters to sophisticated world travelers who have already come to expect and appreciate the fine details behind a good dining experience. Yes, everything is included. But no, this is not your ordinary inclusive fare, service or locales. Karisma’s gourmet-level cuisine is served in sleek and sensual sit-down locales and fashion-forward bars. You won’t find a buffet table here (except for kids-they like them). What you will find is cooking that meets the standards of the best restaurants, prepared in a way that will excite and surprise the senses. Special touches include bars equipped with real swings or hanging beds, bars with iced tops to keep drinks frosty cold, tequila lounges with 30 artisanal tequilas on offer, private-label wines from vineyards in Argentina’s Mendoza Valley chosen and offered as they would be in the best restaurants—by experienced sommeliers.

I need to do this every week I think.

image

First and foremost, nope, NOT pregnant. Likas na malaki lang ang tyan ko. Seven years na syang ganyan. Hehehe. And yes I need diet pills!

Anyhow, I have been doing Ali Edward’s Week in the Life Project and this is our last day. I have donned around three 2GB memory cards in a week. So much details. Imperfect blurred photos but when you combine them all, they produce such a nice story. More on that later on my scrap blog.

Back to my story. Yesterday, when I needed to go to Manila, I hesitated to bring my SLR cam. I am only going to go there by bus and would go to Makati then Manila. I might get unlucky. But the need to complete the project was so overwhelming I was just praying the whole time :).

While I dont have any kind words for Manila’s heat and traffic, I take note of its ability to give me some me time and sense of Aggie-dentity back. I guess I should do this every week. Plus the ride home (3 hrs of talk time with Edil with no kids squeezing in some question about the planets and stars and meanings of words) are priceless. Edil said I should go to Manila every Friday. Thursday nights better.

Hay. Sana lang laging available ang Mommy ko.

We never stop needing them no? :)

Ever Felt the Need to be Fashionable?

But are short on cash to get a new wardrobe. Spice it up with accessories. You get to save, spend less on new things and most of all, you can use it with all your existing wardrobe. There are now Discount Jewelry which can pass up for the real thing yet it is perfectly safe to use everyday. My sisters use bangles, stacked bracelets, lots of earrings and necklaces all the time. I actually have quite a few I dont use myself.

The nice thing about these types of jewelries is that it can be quite funky and modern and yet retain the classic elegance of jewelry – at least you are wearing jewelry even if you really cant afford to get one – for now.
