Doing Background Checks.

I was so alarmed when I saw news on TV about a househelp robbing the family she is working for by poisoning them - the husband and wife were fine but their child, a girl, still had to confined to the ICU. That is so alarming! It makes me sick just imagining someone you have let in to your home can betray you like that. I know most families these days dont even rely on a systematic background check to have househelp applying be investigated - they just rely on referrals and word of mouth. But that househelp reported on the news was referred by a family friend! Outrageous right?

Background Checks are necessary for people applying for employment. If one is screened before working at the office, I honestly feel it is MORE important to have one screened if he is to work for your family. After all, your family is supposed to be the most important thing in the world for you! A Criminal Background Check is very important.

Fortunately, performing a Criminal Check can now be done online - and you dont need to hire the services of an investigator or run a report to the police. SentryLink.com has a nationaly background and sex offender check running on their web site for $19.95 - you get results in 60 seconds and a copy will be e-mailed to you.

All About Cigars

Cigars
Talk to me about cigars.

I never knew that cigars can actually be so complicated. If women can have shoes and bags, men can have cigars. That’s how I equate it when it comes to addiction. Cigars can really be a collection and hobby for some. For example, I know of some people, specifically an uncle, who had a whole cabinet of cigars. It gets complicated as he keeps them in a humidor (a box that is used to store cigars) to keep them “fresh”.

It looks like this:

This one is a Colibri Humidor Gift Set - yes smoking a Cigar involves accessories too.

Cigars are made out of tobacco which are aged by a process that uses heat and shade to reduce sugar and water content without having the leaves rot. (Curing and Fermentation) Most cigar-rollers (those that make cigars) need to keep the tobacco moist, most especially the wrapper.

Why am I talking about cigars? I just saw a movie that had the lead star smoke one (you can tell I watched a movie from the 60s did you?) And just so you know, Winston Churchill, George Burns, Fidel Castro and even Bill Clinton are famous cigar smokers.

And yes cigars can be chewed as well!

If ever you need to shop for it, make sure you go to a cigar store that has premium quality cigars, like the Famous Smoke Shop. It carries Cohiba cigars, Macanudo cigars and all other major cigar brands at big discounts.
