Run. Run.

Im actually just using my Dad’s $1,000 treadmill. Yes, it costs that much since he needs a specialized one which is heavy duty (he is very much obese) and one which can monitor heart rates as well. It has been with us for almost five years and it still looks brand new :D

It is a good thing Im actually using it now. Now if only I can muster enough willpower to use it everyday then the treadmill will be worth every penny!

To.Do

If I can take myself away from Twitter and Plurk, I hope to do these things today:

1. Do some serious grocery shopping. Load up cupboards. We have been staying at my parents for close to three weeks already - now Im ready to go back to our house and I find empty everythings :D

2. Pay bills. Bills. Bills. Reconnect SUN. Inquire about the new passport requirements.

3. Buy new school shoes for Matthew, white sandals for Martha and new bottles for her as well.

(I notice this all involves money - paypal money just came in).

4. Blog. All around the blogworld :D

5. Scrap. Purge.

6. Upload photos.

7. Maybe go on the treadmill again?

Ill stop at seven. Maybe seven will be a lucky number for me today.

Bedroom Furniture

If only I can have a bedroom to look like this:

Bedroom Contemporary

I will be a very happy woman. I have always said we wouldnt get high beds anymore. We have grown accustomed to have “zen” beds or beds which only have a small platform ever since we had Martha. We didnt do cribs so we made sure she wouldnt fall off our bed. A
Contemporary Bedroom setting or look is one of my dreams - I fell in love with the way the rooms were arranged at Astoria Plaza and vowed one day that we will have a look like that for our house, contemporary, minimalist but still cozy.

Bedroom Furniture is one of the things I always look at when we go out. I always look at dressers, side tables, console tables and bed frames. Modern Bedroom furniture are minimal but highly functional.

An Italian Bedroom is something Edil also likes with regards to the “look”. I doubt we can afford it though :D

We Need This.

Clean Air For the Kids Im sure everybody, when they become parents, develops a real concern for the environment. I couldnt care less about the environment when I single - I enjoyed when there were storms praying they’d go to Signal No.3 because that would mean no classes, I listened dispassionately to news about landslides, global warming and everything else.

Now, I get worried upon hearing that the smog index in the cities is like being stuck in a car engine who smoke belches the whole day. I get paranoid upon learning a huge block of ice the size of Manhattan broke off the North Pole. Those things scare me because these are the things I cant control for my kids.

Clean air is one of the EcoQuest International hot topics that is most talked about.

Im no environmentalist. You wont see me planting trees or sporting a sticker that says “Go Green!”.
But Ill do anything for my kids. And I really do hope something drastic can be done for the environment. Before it’s too late.
