Taking care of G.

So G has been with me for around more than month now, and she has been a family computer as well. No matter how hard I try to keep her clean, I still see thumbprints of the kids on the screen and the cover of my lappytop. So I busted some more money over at CD-R King to get a laptop cooling pad, screen protector, microfiber cloth (functions like a microfiber mop for lint without scratching surfaces), and a cleaning kit.

And whaddayaknow I havent even opened it still.
Very very aggie yeah?

This blog is boring.

I noticed I havent been posting pictures a lot.

Geesh, by now I should know how to keep readers entertained - match words with pictures.

I apologize for that :)

To-Do List

My favorite thing to do and write about are lists.

I so love to be able to write everything in an organized way and feel such a great accomplishment when Im able to cross it off my list :)

So here is mine, to be accomplished today (since it is already 1:30AM).

1. Draft to-do list for the house (one area per day).
2. Set up a mock station for myself. I think the reason why Im so depressed is that my need for organization and seeing all my stuff in one place is not happening. I need to do something about it tomorrow.
3. Set up G’s space - use cooling pad, clean, install sheet protector.
4. Buy some ink pens and art materials for the kids. Get some schedule going for them (crafts, play time, etc.)
5. Post menu plan at the ref.

Remember to breathe.

The Monster.

I forgot to blog about this but announced in at Twitter the other day. My youngest broke the TV - our only TV, the one given to us as a wedding present by my father-in-law. *sigh*. How did it happen? I’m not exactly sure. The husband just called from work sounding utterly mad and upset, haha. Apparently, the kids were playing tag in the room and Martha got pikon and swiped the TV. Boom. The side was shattered to pieces but the tube was unharmed so we are using a “mighty-bonded” TV :) - still working. If and when we can afford to get a flat TV for the house Edil is going to make sure it will be on its own plasma mount!

The Honest Truth.

I really have not gotten my groove back - after everything. It will take months before we are really settled in the house, and my mood swings are fast it scares me. One time Im so happy and assured and calm the next thing I knew Im getting nervous and depressed and close to panicking. I guess you can say Im a little bit depressed. I have not been able to fully digest my resignation when we needed to move to the suburbs, on top of that is the need for Edil to still work in the city. I have to give it to him, he has been working very hard and driving long hours for the house move to go smoothly. I wish we can get some extra moolah to be able to afford some massage therapy for the both of us soon.

Anyhow, this is the first night Edil is not sleeping at the house and iba pala sya. I pride myself for being independent and not needy when it comes to relationships but this one really almost did me in. I thought having Edil away during weeknights would be beneficial for me as Ill have more me time and be able to live independently - read: sarili kong diskarte. Iba din pala.

That is why marriages involve two persons, not one.
We are giving this situation a year to work itself out then we will explore other options.

Expecting Guests

My daughter turns two this week, specifically this Friday :) My baby is officially a toddler! We dont have any big plans but it coincides with a big event we have at church so relatives will be coming. I think I will just prepare something light and nice for the kids. The husband promised to be home early (he needs to work). Meanwhile, since we only have three rooms at the house and we are expecting more, those who can afford cheap hotels will be booked in Tagaytay. One of the things I need to be busy with starting tomorrow.

Of Hobbies and Addictions.

I have to confess Im not a very good person when it comes to dealing with money. Im an impulsive shopper and really do not know how to save and budget things. I think it is SLIGHTLY better than being addicted to drugs or alcohol (then Id need to go to alcohol rehab) - but shopping has always been a weak point for me. I need to control myself since I dont have my own money starting this month.

*sigh*
Any tips?
