Car Repair

Edil has been using his Dad’s car for a month already. The one we use needs to be repaired and given a new roof. There are  auto body shops downey that Edil is looking into. I really am not complaining because the car we use now is more comfortable and we can bring a lot of stuff and leave it there. Gas prices are down, thankfully, so we can afford to go around a lot.

Buh-bye Waltermart.

image

Robinson’s Supermarket opened a few weeks ago. This one is in Tagaytay, right in front of Josephine’s, so it’s nearer (and of course nicer). The whole area I think will be a lot like Blue Wave – there’s going to be a coffee shop, some restaurants and on the second floor there is a dental clinic, a facial spa and holy moley, BPI! LOL (I can finally have a bank near me!). All of these are still closed save for the supermarket, Handyman, Shakey’s and the dental and facial clinics. Hopefully they can open by the end of the year.

We usually go to Waltermart to get groceries because it’s nearer than SM – now we can go to Tagaytay all the time and save on gas (and everything else).

Decluterring

I’ve thrown out two large garbage bags this weekend because I’m trying to declutter before I set up Christmas decorations. Even my nursing “paraphernalia” is still there – gloves, masks even incontinence products! I hope to be finished this week, *wishful thinking*

In the meantime, here is a little quiz I found helpful for a home blog :)
And surpise it got me to a T :)

What Your Home Says About You
You come across as somewhat intellectual. You can be quite insightful at times.

Your hygiene is passable, but you may be hiding some dirty secrets.

You are not a domestic person. You’re lucky if you can boil water or sew up a hole.

You are not a very nurturing person. You have enough trouble taking care of yourself.

You don’t feel settled in your life yet. You are scrambling to figure things out.

You are not a very self sufficient person. You depend on others more than you realize.

Your friends see you as accommodating, peaceful, and forgiving.

Accident Prone

Since we live near Tagaytay, we always see dozens of motorcycles on the highway often in groups, going there. I gather they are doing it as a group, doing a fun ride or just trying to die! My sister-in-law got paralyzed because of drunk driving 13 years ago – She was only 16 when she was paralyzed waist down. All the other people inside the car had fractured hips and bones and needed cervical collars for months! I truly hope drivers can be more careful. How will you carry it in your conscience that you were responsible for people dying or getting injured because of irresponsible driving?

Thursday Blogging

Hello.
I have a million and one things on my plate right now but it doesn’t keep me from still talking with friends in Twitter. I’m naturally talkative, even online I guess.
I have been pretty good with being a mommy lately too. I cook breakfast, Matthew isnt late for the bus in a record breaking four days already (I usually sleep in once every weekday so Matthew is always rushing and doesnt get to eat breakfast). Matthew can still eat breakfast and watch TV. Martha is going back to her sleeping schedule. Slowly but surely. Monday Tuesday she slept at 9PM. Wednesday she slept 11PM. We need to gain the balance :)

I have been doing pretty good with regards to scrapping goals. I have such a life that scrapping is taking too much center of my attention LOL. It keeps me sane and entertained and not bored. Plus, it keeps my mind working. Argh. I cant even start to think how dull my brain is already from staying at home. I need to do something about that soon. That and losing another 10lbs before December 25 rolls in - best diet pill anyone?
